A Day out with Chris 

 South Tyneside Green Party

We joined Chris Davies whilst he was out speaking with residents, on matters that are important to them.

Chris says: ‘The best part of a campaign is getting out and about meeting residents. It was great to see freshly cut edging to the paths on Biddick Hall Drive that we reported a few weeks back. This has made a huge impact to the area, making it look instantly cleaner and tidier.”

The ongoing disruption to bin services remains a constant source of concern among residents. Rachael and Chris have been engaging with the bin workers, directly listening to their reasons for initiating strike action. Among the most adversely affected are residents with young families. Chris spoke to one resident, who lacks access to a car, and is juggling work, study, and family responsibilities to the best of her ability. Chris intends to follow up with Rachael to explore potential solutions to the issue.

Chris & Daniel then called in at Green Lane Fisheries for lunch, a delicious treat to end the day on.
