Hill Farm Hedges Project

David and Shirley, along with other local volunteers, have been helping the inspiring farmer at Cleadon Hills Farm with their project to plant hundreds of metres of new hedgerow this year.

 The reason for the project is hedgerows are wonderful for wildlife – a study counted 2,070 species in an 85m row. Hedges also protect against pollution and help fight climate change.
